Welcome!

iCivics This week we will have our first iCivics game. iCivics is a non-project organization that creates games that correlate with Civics standards to make learning about the process more enjoyable. Some of these games are not historically accurate (Win the White House mixes the states from their actual political climate), but are about the process. Your grade is based off of your score. I am trying to make sure the scores are posted so you know what you need to get each grade.

TIA Don't forget your volunteering of choice is due by Tuesday. If you haven't volunteered yet, please come up with what you are going to do and complete it. You could donate to a cause, give time to a cause, help an individual (who isn't in your family) with tasks they would have difficulty doing themselves.

ColonialWe are still in the colonial era historically speaking so while we are moving towards independence (Thursday), we will be moving into becoming states as far as we are concerned as well during this same time period.

Questions? E-mail me at kemiller@gaston.k12.nc.us Thank you for your time!
