Greetings!
Unit One Unit One is a very short Unit, it just establishes what is Civics, how it varies by type of government and country, and what makes a U.S. Citizen and the components that go with that. You will notice that on Thursday you receive a study guide for the first test. So each day after we finish a note sheet, you should look at the study guide and make sure you can answer the questions that tie in with that note sheet.
Graphic Organizers Unlike 9th grade year where there was no choice, but to use my graphic organizers, this year you have a choice whether or not to use the graphic organizers. If you do not use the graphic organizers, that is fine, you are expected to take notes in a method that works for you. If you decide to take digital notes it'll be your responsibility to make them available in a non-digital format for the quiz at the end of the year. If your digital notes match another students' digital notes in regards to content (you copied and pasted my slides, you printed multiple copies, etc.) you will not be allowed to use them on the final quiz or will receive a zero. Please note it is referring to the content and not you changing the font/color/size, etc. There is a question in Canvas to set your intentions for the semester.
