Greetings!

Unit OneIf you have not started your study guide and vocabulary, now would be an excellent time for that. You should be able to answer all questions pertaining to the study guide on Monday after notes. Monday we will start and Tuesday we will finish the first Inquiry for the County for Civics. Please remember we are looking for evidence from the supporting documents to justify our stances. If you are not providing evidence from the supporting documents you are also not earning all the points on the assignment.

Enlightenment Thinkers Thursday we will start Unit Two. The Enlightenment has MANY individuals who are important for the U.S. in regards to concepts that we then put into application. Please make sure you are looking over these people, they will be on your Unit Two Test and some of them overlap. We will do a review packet with some of the more important ones. It is important to note, as you will see as we complete the primary documents packet, that not all of these individuals are promoting a representative democracy as their ideal government. Just because we are taking ideas from their writings, doesn't mean we are implementing them 100%.
