Welcome!
Shaw Cases We will table discuss the Shaw Cases first thing on Monday, followed by a vote before starting our notes. PLEASE make sure your annotations are done and you are ready to discuss the final board of this case. We will then complete our local government notes and check in.
How's Your Binder? Don't forget at the end of the semester there is a binder quiz. These are your notes (not copies of someone else's - that'll result in both of you having a zero). If you don't have your binder in order, now would be an excellent time to get it in order so you can maximize your time on the quiz. If you are missing a page and need a graphic organizer now is also the time where I'd be willing to print you another.
Mini-Project We are starting our Mini-project on Thursday. You will have 45 minutes AS A GROUP to define the items that are listed (DIVIDE AND CONQUER IS KEY TO FINISHING) and then your group will present. We will start presentations on Thursday and finish on Monday. PLEASE make sure you are condensing the information and NOT giving your classmates paragraphs to write. Condense the information into bullet points, but you will talk in paragraphs. It is important that as you find information you also expand on that as well VERBALLY so you aren't just standing there while they write. (You may have a notecard with you to help in this endeavor). This will count as a test grade, but is not out of a hundred points (thus the mini).
