Welcome!
TEST IS BEING MOVED Our test that should be taking place this Thursday is being moved to Wednesday, November 16th. Some of the items for the Court Cases Project are going to be shared ahead of time. This will be your extension on Thursday, in addition to playing iCivics. You will read the stories and establish what crimes / injustices (civil) have been committed.
Social Movements We will finish presenting the remaining Social Movements on Monday. Students who were absent on Thursday were all moved to one topic and are making posters for us to look at and analyze instead of a presentation. Once we finish our social movements we will move onto Resistance.
Resistance Resistance will be taking all of the same movements we have already started discussing and talk about specific types of them as methods of resistance and how they were or were not successful. This will take Monday and part of Tuesday.
Resilience Resilience is our list of ways we address issues that have occurred in our state (like natural disasters) and how we go about preparing, addressing, and recovering from such events. We will complete this as soon as we finish our resistance notes. Assessments are on Thursday of this week.
