Welcome!
Wrapping Up We are wrapping up our Unit Eight. Our newest part of the standards is addressing social movements, methods of those movements, and how we keeping going even when those fail. We started resistance on Thursday so we can fit everything in before Spring Break. You will have 20 minutes to create your movement set up (I will present one as an example) and then you will present to each other on your assigned movements.
Court Cases Project When we come back from break we will start the Court Cases Project. We have three types of cases that will be completed in this project. One is an actual appellate case, but the other two will be based on fairy tales. We will read the fairy tales in class and then decide what the charges should be in each case. THEN you will find out which of the cases is yours. You may be the judge (for all three), one of the attorneys, OR serve as a witness. There is a list of potential witnesses, additional ones can be created for the purpose of the trial, and there's a potential of you needing to be two for your group.
