Greetings!

Court Cases Project Monday we will begin affidavits for our cases. Affidavits are an individual's perspective on all the components that are relelvant for the trial. The first paragraph is always an introduction of one's self and then moves into discussing the relevance to the case and what they know about the person or the event itself. Material witnesses are because they know something directly about the event; Character witnesses are about the type of individual and NOT about their knowledge directly for the case. Attorneys will begin thinking about what their strengths and weaknesses are in the case and what questions they'd like to ask. We will be discussing the differences between questions for one's own witnesses versus the opposing council.

Last Unit We are officially in our last Unit. We will commence with our final project for the semester as well. Please make sure that you are asking questions as we move through this unit if you have any questions and if you haven't started looking at your notes from previous units, now is an excellent time to start, as finals will be here before we know it.

Questions? E-mail me at kemiller@gaston.k12.nc.us Thank you for your time!
